Description

This is the perfect place to relax being only 500 metres from the beach and located next to a conservation area, never crowded with holiday makers and close to butifull towns. Appointed by Worrld Health Orrganization (WHO) to be one of the healthiest areas in the World
ABOUT THE HOUSE.

The house is fully equipped, spacious with a big terrace, roofterrace, backyard and a big garage and private parking spaces.
The house is located on Ciudad de Valencia, a quiet road 500 m from the beach. It is facing south, so it will be sunny all day long. In the hot summertime you can also use the garage and the backyard as airy shaded livingareas. The house has two floors. On the ground floor there is a spacius diningroom with an open kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms and a conservatorium, which has recently been expanded to twice its sige, which is very usefull in the winter. The backyard is a closed area with entrance from both the kitchen and the garage. It has an outdoor shower, where you can remove sand and salt, when coming from the beach, or you can take a cool shower during the day. From the backyard stairs leeds to the top floor with a big sunny terrace and a big bedroom and a bathroom. The two independent floors make it ideal for family or friends to holyday together, because you can have some privacy and also autonomy. In the garage there is a washingmachine and an outdoor kitchen, you can make your orangejuice out there, and there is a large storageroom for golfequipments, bikes,toys etc.
In the neighbourhood there are bars, restaurants, pharmasy, and a supermarket. And Pinatar Arena, a new sportscenter with swimmingpool and fitnesscenter. A baker drives parst the house every day. Furthermore there is a bodega where you can draw cheap wine from barrels and also buy expensive wines and specialities. For big shopping you have to go to the mainroad N332, where you will find several supermarkets or go to the nearest town San Pedro or Torre de la Horadada, both in walkingdistance or easy by bike. In July and August, there are markets in El Mojon and the beachcafes are open from March till November. There is a market every monday morning in San Pedro with fresh products, clothes, leathergoods and a lot of other things, all year long. Outside San Pedro towards San Javier there is a big shoppingcenter, Dos Mares, with shops and restaurants and cinemas with English films.

ABOUT THE AREA.
El Mojon is a small village. Originally a small fishing village with very fine sandbeaches. It is located on the border between Costa Calida and Costa Blanca. It is a peacefull area without towering hotel blocks that causes the area to seem deserted in winter.
It is located in the middle of all possible needs you may have for holiday, you just choose which way to turn from the house and you will find different needs. It is ideal for cycling and walking tours through the naturereserves of Las Salinas og Arenales de San Pedro,and very close to the house, there are wetlands that streches over 10km to the south. It is a bird sanctuary and to protect the native vegetation wooden walkways are provided. This ensures you get a really close experience of nature and can feel free. You can walk along the salt ponds and see flocks of pink flamingos and other rare birds. or you can take walks along the nature beach with sand dunes and areas of wethered trees that bear witness to powerful nature forces, even in this gentle area. If you choose to walk along the beach in a northerly direction,you can follow the wide modern boardwalk, lined with palm trees and flowers. Here you find beachcafees and stalls where you can get tapas and small meals or enjoy sangria or coffee and pleasent compagny. You can walk to a small marina, whether you go towards Torre de La Horadada or Puerto Marina de Las Salinas.
Moving a little inland, you can experience the Spanish culture in two small, friendly Spanish towns, San Pedro del Pinetar and Pilar de la Horadada, and a more mixed ""English"" culture to the north.
The location is ideal for watersports and golfing. There are 5 very fine golfcourses within 15 - 20 mins drive with their own charm and challenges. 8 km to Lo Romero Golf - 10 km to the golfcourses of Las Ramplas, Campoamor and Villamartin - 15 km away, Las Colinas,which is fairly new and in Europe´s top 100. Also,there are further 3 exciting courses within 1/2 hours drive.

approximately 10-mins.drive away is Lo Pagan, It has a myriad of shops, bars and restaurants. Lo Pagan is known for its therapeutic salt mud baths, which are free of charge. A number of hotels in the area are known for therapy and treatments. The Mud with its cleansing power and the outdoor thermal baths have a beneficial effect on skin diseases, rheumatism, arthritis, psoriasis, rehabilitation of fractures and a lot of other ailments. You spread a layer of mud on the body and allows it to dry and rinse it all off in warm salt water.
Pilar de la Horadada and San Pedro are cozy Spanish towns with Spanish culture and beatiful plazas and squares and different arrangesments and you will find exiting good restaurants or you can browse around in small shops.
About 15 mins. drive in a northerly direction on the N332 you come to Orihuela Costa with the areas Villamartin, Cabo Roig and la Zenia with a myriad of restaurants and shopps and the CostaBlanca beaches Compoamor, Playa De La Regia, Cala Caleta, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, La Mosca, Punta Prima. and la Florida with a new enormous shoppingcenter, La Zenia Boulevard, with 150 shops and restaurants.

Do you want mountains and beautiful views, they are all around within 1/2 hour´s drive. The national park Rio Seco located in Pinar de Campoverde,is situated only 15 minutes from the house.
The house is located in between citys like Cartagena Murcia, Orihuella, Elche, Alicante and Valencia which can be reached within 1/2 - 1 1/2 hour´s drive by car.
This beautiful part of Spain is quite unknown to many people and probably Spain´s best kept secret, with the beautiful Landscapes with almond trees, orange groves, and palm trees and especially the pleasent healthy meterianian climate.
